Hey, look at what I’m doing with the new layout! That’s Man-Thing and he’s all like “Check out the Continuity Error, guys.” I love me some Man-Thing. He’s the blog’s new mascot.
I haven’t really been keeping up with American comics but I have been reading everything with a “House of M” banner. I’m playing catch up.
Spider-Man: House of M really annoyed me with its nonsensical plot but then it had me raving mad when I read House of M #5, which makes the Spider-Man series impossible to fit into continuity.
Batman #666 was surprisingly gruesome and apparently pointless. I want to know about this whole black casebook thing and an alternate future story is only going to provoke me.
I’ve only been reading the World War Hulk series and none of the tie ins. Is it just me or was last issue’s cliffhanger a bit of a low point. After Hulk beats up every superhero in New York, taking on the US Army doesn’t seem like a big deal. Is this month’s excitement in the tie-ins.
I just picked up the three issues of the Punisher that Chris wrote about here.
comiXology.com launched today. What is it about the comic book niche that demands half-assed social networking sites?
I’m currently in the middle of some big changes in my life. Hopefully, come September, there will be a new status quo that will allow my to spend much more time working on this blog. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
