[via Boing Boing] Writer and artist Lea Hernandez as recently put her comic Texas Steampunk I: Cathedral Girl online, free for all to read, complete with a nice Creative Commons license. The book was originally published by Image Comics in 1998.

I’ve only skimmed through so far, but it’s seems to have a nice, slow pace and an art style that is well above the standards of most “American manga.” Plus, anything remotely related to steampunk is aces in my eyes.
